Our gold rate is the IBJA (India Bullion and Jewellers Association) benchmark and our silver rate comes from MCX; both are the metal value only and exclude the 3% GST on metal, the 5% GST on making charges, and the jeweller's own making charge. These figures are not investment, financial, tax or legal advice, and not a solicitation or recommendation to buy or sell any commodity or financial product. Actual prices at your jeweller, bank, refiner or exchange will differ and change intra-day. Verify the live price with your jeweller or dealer before transacting. They exclude the 3% GST on metal, the 5% GST on making charges, and your jeweller’s own making charge — which together add far more to your bill than any daily price movement. No jeweller is obliged to sell at the benchmark. Prices move intra-day, and IBJA does not publish on weekends or public holidays.
Always confirm the live price directly with your jeweller, dealer or bank before you transact. The number they quote at the counter — including all charges and taxes — is the one that governs your purchase, not the figure on this site.
