SonaBhavshows today’s gold and silver rate in India. Our gold number is the IBJA benchmark — the same one the Reserve Bank uses to price Sovereign Gold Bonds — and our calculator turns it into what you will actually pay once making charges and GST are added. That is the whole product.
It is for the person about to walk into a jeweller and wanting a sanity check on the quote. For families planning a wedding purchase. For small jewellers and savers who watch the market daily. For anyone who has typed “gold rate today” into a search box and wished the answer were clearer, faster and less cluttered.
We care about three things. Clarity — a rate you can read at a glance, with the purity, unit and update time stated plainly. Honesty— every number names its source, and we will not publish one we cannot stand behind. That is why there is no platinum here, and no “rate in your city”: gold is priced nationally in India, and pretending otherwise would be inventing data. No hype— no “prices will crash / soar” scare pieces, no buy or sell advice, and no pushing you toward any dealer.
SonaBhav is free to use, and right now it carries no ads and no trackers— nothing is sold, nothing is measured, and nobody pays for what you see. We are a website first; a mobile app built on the same data will follow. We are not a jeweller, a broker or an investment adviser — just a clear window onto the market. If we can save you a bad quote or a moment of doubt, we have done our job.
